Tripping with a 9-month-old

So my husband & I are out of our minds. We have decided to go on a trip to Kodaikanal this weekend. Why Kodaikanal? cuz Manjummel Boys of course. Planning the trip was pretty intense for me because the last thing I want to do is to go on a trip. I am a working mom and it's only the weekends that I get to rest a little. A trip is to relax, but it would mean the opposite with a baby. I do not want to be lifting weights the whole time if you know what I mean (it's my cutie lil baby). My baby is still dependent on me, he's 9 months now, crawling and standing with support, but not yet walking. Sure, my husband takes care of him when I INSIST, but he's no use let's be real here. My husband needs a prompt from me to do things which is not too bad, I guess (crying in silence). Anyway, he's been doing the big things for me like packing my things, shopping for the trip, and all the finances, the transport, the mapping to the destination, coordinating with the other co

The Untold Story of Feeding Rooms in the Malls of Chennai

I feel embarrassed tbh, to even be talking about this. I am a mom of a 9-month-old. I'd love to stay at home chillin' in my PJs, Netflix all day every day with my kid playing around. But, every now and then I wish to go out and I want my kid to see the world as well. I want to take him out and see new faces and new places! Just 2 weeks back we celebrated Women's Day... I still think that such a day is so overrated. Women in corporate offices get some nice goodies, women at home are wished by their husbands (or not), and women together share in their WhatsApp status. But is that really it? We women have certain privileges like a facility in malls and public spaces for breastfeeding mothers to feed their babies. It's no wonder women everywhere are screaming for their rights because we are still denied things like a clean well-maintained feeding room! What I think of- 'Ocean's 8' The Movie

What I think of- 'Ocean's 8' the movie Ocean's 8 is one of those movies which becomes a box office hit because of the casting of well known renowned actors. The movie involves the stealing of a jewelry as the trailer reveals. The concoction of Sandra Bullock, Sarah Paulson, Anne Hathaway and Rihanna just makes us jump out of our homes and go watch the movie no matter what! What I like in the movie Ocean's 8? I liked it that it was thrilling to watch though the plot was revealed in the trailer and the casts talking about it in various talk shows. The cast was perfect and there seems to be a lot of fun and suspense in the end too. It portrays women power and the movie gave a ''mission impossible'' feel. Basically, the cast is the best part of the movie.  What I dislike in the movie Ocean's 8? There are 3 things I disliked- 1) I did not like the plot so much. It was just another regular crime movie plot made best

What I think of- "Lust Stories" the movie

Lust Stories Movie Review Lust stories is a Netflix original movie which tells the stories of 4 woman who have trouble in their life about decisions relating to sex. These 4 stories of woman are directed by 4 different directors describing the different type of problems they face. What I like in "Lust Stories''? I like it that the movie makes a statement that sex is nothing to be hidden. Sex is nothing which must be whispered anymore. It is something that is real and there's no need to be awkward around that topic when it pops up. I appreciate that the makers of the movie wanted to make this to be acknowledged to the audience. What I did not like in "Lust Stories''? There are 3 things that I just hated about the movie. 1)Masturbation The Movie portrays masturbation in one of the stories. I do not like the fact that these kind of influences are being made in movies be it any movie for a fact. Masturbation is giving pleasur
