What I think of- 'Ocean's 8' the movie

Ocean's 8 is one of those movies which becomes a box office hit because of the casting of well known renowned actors. The movie involves the stealing of a jewelry as the trailer reveals. The concoction of Sandra Bullock, Sarah Paulson, Anne Hathaway and Rihanna just makes us jump out of our homes and go watch the movie no matter what!

What I like in the movie Ocean's 8?

I liked it that it was thrilling to watch though the plot was revealed in the trailer and the casts talking about it in various talk shows. The cast was perfect and there seems to be a lot of fun and suspense in the end too. It portrays women power and the movie gave a ''mission impossible'' feel. Basically, the cast is the best part of the movie. 

What I dislike in the movie Ocean's 8?

There are 3 things I disliked-

1) I did not like the plot so much. It was just another regular crime movie plot made best with the cast. The cast if it were to be different it wouldn't have done any good. The movie could have been made better with a better story making justice to the cast. 

2) I also did not like the trailer revealing almost half of the plot. Sure, it's important to know what kind of a movie and the actors but the fact that they show the jewelry and how it's going to be stolen etc. was not needed.

3) I hated the fact that just like all crime movies there was CCTV cameras being manipulated and the hacker being able to hack and crack open all kinds of security without any much of work. There was just nothing new in the movie on the whole.

Any flaws in the script ?

Yes! The ones who steal the jewelry don't get caught as there are no traces left behind and the criminals finish the job in such a manner that they divert all the suspicion to their enemy. The FBI investigates everyone, checks the CCTV footage but have no solid proof. But! there's a scene in the movie where Sarah Paulson's character finds the fake jewelry in a fountain which she hands it over to the cops. And, Sarah Paulson never get interrogated by the FBI. As a matter of fact she should be the first one to get interrogated.

Overall it was a "Good" movie I'd say but not the best with such a cast....
